The odd thing is I've been plugging points in what I believe to be an accurate tool at but when I shift some of the points from firebolt and meteor to mastery my end fireball damage increases up until a certain point (same total points in fire tree). Popular guides advise, and math on paper confirms, that maxing fireball, bolt, and meteor with 1pt in mastery would be optimal given that the synergies provide a 14% damage boost per level while mastery only offers 7%. Im currently trying to optimize my fireball damage for a fireball/zorb build.
